Mac — TOKYOLUV
Mac is a Montreal-born photographer based in Tokyo, specialising in street photography and portrait work with a distinctly cinematic edge.
He began his career in 2007 as a 3D artist at Ubisoft Montreal, contributing to major franchises including Far Cry, Watch Dogs, and Rainbow Six over several years. A long-standing connection to Japan — built through repeated visits over more than a decade — eventually led to a permanent move to Tokyo in 2022.
His work is rooted in the city at night: artificial light, dense urban texture, and the quiet drama of people in motion. He shoots both editorial and personal projects, with clients ranging from independent creatives to corporate commissions across Tokyo.

Decentral Art Pavilion
A group exhibition exploring the convergence of photography, artificial intelligence, and digital art. Tokyo street work presented alongside artists working at the intersection of traditional practice and on-chain media.
Solo Exhibition — NOX Gallery, Shibuya
Debut solo exhibition, held at NOX Gallery in Shibuya — one of the first dedicated spaces in Japan to present photography alongside NFT-native and digital art. A focused body of Tokyo street work, exhibited exclusively over one week in 2023.

DAO Tokyo
An international group exhibition bringing together artists at the intersection of photography, digital art, and decentralised culture. The Tokyo edition was the first chapter of a globally touring series. Specifically commissioned to create a unique digital artwork (NFT) for the event.

The Gateway: Korea — Korea Blockchain Week
An immersive digital art exhibition co-produced by NFT Now and Factblock during Korea Blockchain Week in Seoul. Held alongside Frieze Seoul in September 2023, the show brought together international artists working at the intersection of photography, digital art, and on-chain media.
Digital Vertigo — NOX Gallery × Goat Studio
A landmark group exhibition co-produced by NOX Gallery in Shibuya and Goat Studio in Toronto — the world's first dual-venue simultaneous digital art show. Works presented to audiences in both cities concurrently, bridging Japanese and North American art communities.

Shibuya Social Innovation Week 2023
Held November 6–12 across Shibuya, with Hikarie Hall as the main venue. The 2023 edition drew over 167,000 participants across 150+ programmes and 260 speakers. Created a limited-edition t-shirt with an NFC chip embedded in the sleeve — tapping it unlocked a unique NFT, with an AR artwork tied to the main design.

Tokyo Solid Paris — The NFT Factory
PLASMAFLUX exhibited as part of Tokyo Solid Paris, held at The NFT Factory in Paris in February 2024. The third chapter of a global touring series — following editions in New York and Monterrey — bringing together Japanese and internationally-based artists in digital art, illustration, and emerging media. One of the few events of its kind to take Tokyo's digital art scene directly to a European audience.

Shibuya Social Innovation Week 2024
A city-wide festival under the theme "Connecting Colors of Dots," reaching an audience of entrepreneurs, creatives, and civic innovators from across Japan and abroad. Work presented through a multi-screen installation — several monitors displaying the photography simultaneously, each piece running as part of a single continuous environment.
