Darumanome ramen, is a small franchise restaurant with only six stores in Tokyo. The one that I visit from time to time is located in Akihabara, in one of the small street with a bunch of maid cafe. Just a few minutes walk from the station.
Even though it’s a franchise, this restaurant has a very authentic feel to it. Old Japanese wood from floor to ceiling. The noodles are thin, and the white and creamy tonkotsu broth is delicious. It’s inspired by the kyushu style ramen. One great feature about this place is the different topping they have. I particularly like the fried spicy garlic they offer for free. Every customer also have a small grinding bowl for sesame. Freshly grind sesame goes great on this kind of ramen.
If you are in the area one day, why don’t you give it a try.
